The five member Board of Commissioners governs Scott County Redevelopment and Housing Authority and they are responsible for establishing policy and hiring the Executive Director.  The Executive Director oversees the day-to-day administration of the Housing Authority and implements policies and programs established by the Board and the enforcement of all Federal and State regulations.

Each Board member is appointed by the Scott County Board of Supervisors.

The Board meets at 5:30 P.M. on the fourth Thursday of each month at the Scott County Community Office, 190 Beech Street, Gate City, VA. 24251. (Circumstances may change meeting date, time & location)
